Welcome to MetroMercy!  I’m Rob Brown, I’m the pastor here at MetroMercy (MM), and I’m glad you’ve found us. MetroMercy is a spiritual community in the heart of downtown, with a heart for Calgary’s urban people.  We are eager to put our faith into action and to meet God through the lives of the people around us.  Whether marginalized or mainstream, young or old, rich or poor… be that materially or in spirit, all are welcome as equals to be the church and part of the MetroMercy family.

We are actively engaged in living out our love for God and our neighbour. We celebrate real life with Jesus Christ at our weekend worship gatherings.  We genuinely care for and support each other through good times and bad.  We meet the needs around us – serving the poor and broken, gaining as much as we give (often more), as God displays His presence in our common humanity.  We would love to share this abundant life, this accepting community, and the love that has changed our lives with you.

In other words...

1. God has a dream for a new kind of community.
2. Jesus is with the poor, hungry, drunk, neglected, oppressed, lonely, segregated, enslaved…
3. Know Jesus, you know where to find Him (See #2).
4. Faith is love in action.
5. Share the life you find.
