Where in the World are RockPointe Kids?

In the spring of 2010, RockPointe launched ‘Compassion in Action: Stop the Traffic’, an initiative to help raise funds & awareness to aid in the relief of human trafficking. The congregation was been made aware of the dangers and realities of human trafficking and slavery, and then RockPointe distributed $50,000 dollars to its small groups and told them to go out and make more so that we can make a difference in stopping human trafficking and promoting awareness of the problem.  Our RockPointe Kids also decided to get involved by helping Vietnamese refugees living in Cambodia.

We were amazed at what a child could do.  Some kids donated their piggy bank savings, some helped their parents collect bottles and take them to the depot, and some even asked for money instead of presents at their birthday parties and donated that.  Their compassion for others touched us all.

One project, Kids for Freedom, involved children auctioning off paintings of what they thought freedom meant.

All proceeds went to New Hope Schools in Cambodia.  See what these amazing kids did at RockPointe.tv!
