As a member of RockPointe Church, Darin Dueck is thankful for the Kingdom Associate initiative which enables him to partner with fellow workers on international projects.  As an Associate, Darin has been able to work with teams in the Caribbean Sun & Desert Sand regions.  

In the Caribbean Sun region, Darin supported the work of a local team in the area of communications.  In this capacity, he coordinated projects such as website communication, ministry newsletters, video & photo projects as well as training others in these same initiatives.  It was an incredible opportunity not only to go and serve, but to truly be adopted by a community who served Darin as he learned so many things about local life, culture, language, and faith as he witnessed God’s sustained work in the lives of those he interacted with and their community.

The Desert Sand region, in many ways, is quite a contrast to the Caribbean Sun region.  Cultural and religious differences made for quite a different type of work during his time there.  Darin’s time in this region - two six-week projects in two years - was more focused on training related to faith, culture, worldview and language and less on outreach initiatives or communication projects. Darin’s intent is to return to this region and work alongside others who are seeking the kingdom of God among the people of this region.
