| Gary and Joanne Edwards have been with Venture Teams International (VTI) since 2002. Gary is primarily involved in training mission teams in how to use the arts to communicate the Gospel effectively to children. He also directs the Family AdVenture mission program which provides opportunities for families to serve together on cross-cultural mission trips during Spring Break. Gary and Joanne also serve as team advisors for some of the teams they interact with. "We are excited about how God is using the arts to connect with people, and enabling His message to be communicated through team members of all ages. There are many 'lost' people that are not willing to enter a church, so we need to bring the Message to them in a way that captivates and is relevant. It’s exciting to see kids as young as five serve in meaningful ways on our Family AdVentures, while at the same time, understanding what missions work is all about. One of our recent college teams spent about four months in India and they were able to share the Gospel with approx. 250,000 people. How can you not get excited about that?!"
