People Care is the ministry of RockPointe Church where we care for each other’s needs as well as the needs of those outside the church.  Our mission is to be a community of believers who tangibly demonstrate God’s love by coming alongside those in need so that they may experience physical, spiritual, emotional and social wholeness in Jesus Christ.

We have a committed People Care Team that overseas each of the areas where we offer help.

We offer Visitation to minister to those confined to their homes, hospitals, or hospices during times of illness or bereavement.  

Short Term Care provides short-term crisis care for those facing unforeseen emergencies due to a sudden change in personal or family circumstances such as illness or unemployment or natural disasters such as fire or flood.  If needed, we partner with community agencies to provide a full range of long-term support.

Our Counselling services offer help to those struggling with difficult personal issues. We have a team of professional Christian counselors able to offer a variety of expertise including marriage and family counseling, addictions, grief and stress management.  Financial assistance is available if needed and all referrals and financial requests are kept in strict confidence.

Acts of Kindness come alongside those facing difficulties and challenges by providing practical care as needs arise, specific to each situation and family. Examples of Acts of Kindness have included proving fresh or frozen meals on a regular basis to families and individuals during illness or bereavement, assistance with household and yard duties, babysitting and assistance with shopping.
