Erik McRitchie Youth Division Leader

Erik is the lead Youth Pastors here at RockPointe, and also serves as our Bearspaw Youth Pastor.   He has been on staff since January 2007 and came to us after serving a previous 4 years in youth ministry.  Erik is passionate about seeing people connect with Jesus and taking steps to become more like Christ and he is especially passionate about young people.  He can often be found preaching at Resonate, playing street hockey outside Bowridge, or hanging out at the doors greeting parents, students and leaders.  When he's not working, Erik enjoys tinkering with cars, playing sports, reading, biking,  BBQing (both cooking at eating) and most things technological.  Erik is married to Jessica and they have a beautiful Golden Retriever named Madison. 

Alexa Walcott Bowridge Youth Pastor

Alexa is the Bowridge Youth Pastor and will tell anyone that she has the best job in the world! Alexa has been on staff at RockPointe since August 2007 where she began serving in Children’s Ministry. In May of 2008 she moved into full time Youth Ministry and has loved using her gifts and talents there! She loves seeing students grow in their relationships with Jesus and feels completely blessed to be able to walk alongside many different students on their journeys. Whether it’s being in a room full of energized grade 5 and 6 students or having coffee with a few high school girls, Alexa loves being with students and being able to influence their lives. When she isn’t at work, Alexa enjoys being with friends, reading a good book, shopping, swimming and travelling the world! 

Aaron Bon-Bernard Westhills Youth Pastor

 Aaron is the Westhills Youth Pastor at RockPointe Church.  Aaron joined our staff in November 2007 and he came from serving for 5 years at Strathcona Christian Fellowship to help launch the Westhills campus.  Aaron loves working with Jr High and Sr High students - he has enjoyed watching them mature in their faith and gets encouragement from seeing the passion they have for God!  In his spare time Aaron enjoys riding his motorbike, playing soccer, camping (basically anything in the outdoors).  Aaron is married to Carli and they have two boys, Owen and Dylan, who keep them busy!

Brent Sellers

 Brent is the youth staff member responsible for the production of the Wednesday evening youth service, Resonate, the organization and mentoring of the youth worship team, and the planning of 'Big Events'. Brent joined the staff in 2009 after a year-long internship at RockPointe. Brent enjoys serving alongside the youth of the Church, and finds their passion and fresh ideas to be an inspiration; he desires to be a mentor and leader that can help sustain that passion and put those ideas into practice. Brent also runs a painting company, and has an affinity for computers and comic books, along with other geeky things. Despite being so geeky, Brent managed to marry the love of his life - Rowena!
