Get to Know Jesus

Find out how life was meant to be lived, what your purpose is in this world, and how you can know Jesus for yourself.

Having a relationship with Jesus is a lifelong journey, but it starts with understanding these things:

  • God is the creator. He made you.
  • God loves you more than you can possibly imagine.
  • People are born with a selfish nature that creates an attitude of disobedience towards God, called sin. Sin separates us from God.
    Genesis 1:27Psalm 8:3-6Isaiah 53:6Romans 3:23Isaiah 59:1-2
  • We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or doing good things. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. Jesus, the Son of God came to take the punishment for our selfishness and sin. His death paid the sin penalty.
  • When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are forgiven and saved from the punishment of sin.
    Romans 6:23Ephesians 2:8-9John 14:6, 1:2Titus 3:5Galatians 3:26Romans 5:1Romans 10:9-10
